On Saturday we were able to do our annual canoe trip to Mohican State Park! We usually have the whole family there with Angela and David as well as David's dad and sis too! This year Angela and David couldn't make it due to Angela's wonderful midnight schedule! :-( Liz (David's sis) was unable to make it as she is now working in Louisville, KY for another week. We missed everyone so much this year, but we had a great time. David's dad, Doug, was able to join us for lunch! We always start the day off right with a huge picnic with all the trimmings! We eat at the Covered Bridge in the middle of the Park. Then we head off to hit the rapids! Haha. The river was quite low this year, but we only scraped bottom a few times. We usually have tons of crazy fun trying to tip each other and splashing constantly. Jon and Julie along with David and I had to team up on mom and dad to tip them first. Then of course, they instantly retaliated and took us down too! We of course had a ton of fun and it was SO nice to see family all together!
